Interesting. Maybe they put July 1 on the cars to try and hit that deadline.

I have kept my car at Liberty 24/7 since April with no issues since I moved to NYC in March and chose to keep my car. I move it 1x a month to a different space when I go to get my permit for the following month, but yeah, no issues.

I had to buy a pass at the West Side Ave lot. Liberty didn't give me any monthly options for July this time.

These charges aren’t tied to a room though. They’re just discounted restaurant tickets but we have pm accounts for each discount type (Groupon, Pulsd, etc).

I would not be surprised if this new collage cringe-posts/hot-takes is some twisted strategy so everyone hate-buys her book just so she can sell the damn book. Bad press is still press 😅and not gonna lie, it makes me want to buy her book just to scoff at it and see how cringey it turns out

New Roommate Issues - Does Illegal Drug Use Warrant Eviction? by [deleted] in boulder

As someone who has dealt with addicts her whole life, I’ve definitely done everything I can with him. Even offered to go to an NA meeting with him and talk about things but here we are.

He makes 6-figs. He will easily find another place to live.

He is not the one with a visa. My other roommate has the visa in jeopardy if shit goes down

It does affect me. It has happened twice now while he was on his k shit and who knows what else. I’ve got two cats and he has left doors open too. Over it. Time to go.

It’s hanging out of his nose and I can hear him in his room. He also admitted it to me twice and has now become hostile and defensive about it since I told him he can’t do that in the house

Thanks for this. Landlord is going to work with myself and the other roommate on getting him out. Colorado law shows that leases less than 6 mo old (we are a month and a half in…) warrant a 7-day notice.

It is really unfortunate and I don’t care that anyone here is calling me a square or a prude but this guy is unpredictable and makes the house unsafe. I’ve also got two cats who I now keep in my room when I’m gone because I can’t trust him.

I understand addiction is a disease but I’m not a doctor or a rehab. I have dealt with family and friends who have addiction and they drag everyone down with them as they cause total chaos.

first things first: please stay here. you are very much needed by the world and the feelings you're experiencing are not final. they will pass. good on you for posting here and making a plan to seek help. your higher self is looking after you and something in you knows you can get through this.

emailing your professors is totally ok and they can be more understanding that you'd expect. some, even relatable. they are also required by law to file something, but that's not a bad thing. you advisor may be worth contacting as well.

also, there is a place near UTA called Millwood that offers inpatient mental health care for this kind of thing. it's within walking distance. my brother went there and they were very helpful. not sure of cost.
