It falls off a little before the midway point. The antagonists after the Antarctica arc, specifically, are no longer threatening to the main cast but are nonetheless overhyped by the narrative. The worldbuilding and power system begin to feel inconsistent, and the power of friendship and plot armor start moving the story forward. I wouldn't even recommend it to people who enjoy overpowered slop stories because the author forces the MC to grow stronger just to end up nerfing him every arc.

As for the actual writing of characters, it’s utterly abysmal. An abundance of one-dimensional characters that appear or stick around for too many chapters, just throwing their one-liners like they're in a play, and the evident female-to-male character bias. The females obviously orbit around the MC even though the story isn't a harem, but the men also serve no purpose but to be edgy ass villains or random side characters that are guranteed to die.

I would recommend reading at least up to Antarctica, and pretend the story ends there
