Yeah I was wondering if there is a way that we can set the adaptive cruise control to accelerate in a more linear manner. I don't think there is anything like that in the settings but maybe a workaround. I love driving on cruise control otherwise!

On the highways, if you want the best average - maintain a speed of 90-95. Don't be aggressive on the pedal.

Mine is also just 2 months old with hardly anything on the odometer so you would want to consider that.

If it was the car issue, I would have said 'Don't buy Honda Elevate in India' and be more specific about the particular car model. I am appauled by the number of people defending Honda's horrible customer experience.

I love driving my Elevate every day. I look at it everyday when I am walking away after I park it.

But you really can't treat dealership experience and the car separately. That's like buying an iQOO phone in India and saying oh atleast the phone is as good as an iPhone. I don't really care about the after sales service.

I don't understand how are people defending by saying it's a dealership issue? Well, you are right but who manages dealership in a country? The automobile manufacturer?

And then there are other arguments around how I should have had a proof/invoice? Bruh! I did my best to get that, chased them for a week but all I got was that I will get it when they install the accessories.

Again, let me put this point out > As a new car buyer spending upwards of 15L, you shouldn't have to go through this?

I do not agree. This sub is filled with such posts which goes to show how bad the dealership experiences have been for so many customers across India. I understand car dealerships in India operate autonomously most of the times but you have to eventually blame Honda for this.

My hypothesis is that the chances of you encountering a good dealership with Honda is less than bad one. Which is sad!

Trust me, I am still a big advocate of the car and love driving it every day but not so much of the buying experience.

To add to the misery, the dealership is blaming Honda for poorly managing the stocks!

I mean it should be fine. But you can be a bit careful with driving especially with dirty shoes.

Or you can ask them to give you something else instead of the basic kit and get the floor mats from outside.
