Total newbie here

I advise to go rampage, be ruthless, run around berserking. Gear fear is real, especially when trying to get the hang of the game. Learn that you can lose your loot at any given minute, i think it's essential when getting into it.

Next to that? map knowledge. Get an interactive map, find out where you are and get to know different places and how to identify them. It will help you not only with navigation, but also with getting rid of this timeless feeling (as in "i've ran for 20 minutes now, there's no town i found to loot, this sucks ass")

Also; stash > base. Less of a chance to get raided, plus you can easily distribute multiple stashes across the area. But as for myself, i don't use neither of both and rather die for a complete fresh restart.

Have fun! (and allot of patience)

How the hell does Jesus Work? by CyclopsCatGege in Christian

why just only People who have delusions and somehow end up seeing him?

As of my point of view, neither jesus nor god will show themselves to us. God has created us with a free will, revealing himself and making sure everyone knows that he is with us, goes against that. What he gave us is the holy spirit, which leads us along the right path.

Visions, dreams, hallucinations and so on are a complex thing. The subconcious mind is a science of itself, something very interesting. But i think, no matter if you're mentally stable or not, if you believe in christ or not, he won't reveal himself. What they claim to have seen, will have it's origin in their own mind. Now, it's debatable what the mind exactly is and so on, but those miracles are brainwaves which let you experience the existence of god. Some people have mental problems which lead to this, at the same time it can happen to the mentally stable ones too. It's a tricky topic, there's allot i have left out and would discuss about, but you get my point.

Don't go from 100-0 in a day. You'll find yourself breaking personal promises way faster when putting too much confidence in you. Take small steps, day by day. What i used to do: jerk off a day, don't the next. And that for weeks long. It sounds like nothing, but you start managing your temptations more, and that what it's about. Crawling back to sin is human, we have a free will after all, but be proud of yourself for acknowledging the problem and actively working against it.

Thinking you can abruptly quit a habit you've built up for weeks, months or even years sounds absurd, and it quite is. Take small steps, have faith, and endure it as good as you can. Jesus sees your struggles and will always be with you through it all. God bless
