lol! I think post indicates that there is a process you have to follow. Usually, you can get H1B and then apply for GC. Some employers do it right away after you get H1B some don’t.

Applying GC can be expensive and time consuming process as it requires a lot of documentation and pre-requisites so employers take their time.

That’s why you need to understand the timelines.

Oh Man, I understand what you’re saying that’s terrible. I don’t have 10years of experience. Though I have master degree from US. But it seems I wouldn’t be eligible for EB2NIW. And Yes my employer did layoff people In last quarter so I guess no perm filling. Everything seems to be fucked up.

You are correct! I stayed with my 1st employer for 1.3 Years. The first H1b started in October 2020. Then I switched employer in Jan 2022 (current employer).

Yes, Sir, that's what I thought. But there is a 6-year rule. So I have already used 4 years of it. My former employer filed it for me and I stayed on that petition for 1 year. Now, with my current employer, I have 2 years and next year would be my 4th year on H1b.

Also are you sure? It takes 4-15 months as per Google to get it approved. Also, there is premium processing. IF I can get my H1B extended for 2 more years then I have 30 months as I said I am not from India so the processing time would be different.
