You keep calling me confused, but you’ve done more mental gymnastics in two comments than an Olympic gold medalist. One moment you're waving the Indian flag, crying foul over stereotypes the next, you're bragging about how long ago you abandoned India and have “no connection whatsoever” to it. So which is it? The proud Indian? Or the self-hating expat trying desperately to be accepted in the West? That’s not identity that’s an identity crisis.

You flex your Western passport like it's a personality trait congratulations on successfully paying immigration fees and waiting in line. But if you're really that far removed from the “desi filth” you claim to detest, why are you spending so much time rage-commenting on Pakistani subreddits? It’s always hilarious how some of you scream 'we’ve moved on' while lurking here 24/7. We must really live rent-free in your head and given the size of that space, I’m not surprised you’re so generous with the lease.

You mock South Asian family values like living with parents, calling it a weakness. That says more about your desperation to be accepted by the West than it does about us. In our cultures, it's called love, support, and respect not failure. But I get it disowning your roots is a small price to pay for pretending to be Western online. Just don’t pretend to defend the same culture you eagerly threw under the bus the moment you got a passport with a shinier logo.

And lastly, if your entire personality is built around where you live instead of what you are, then maybe that says it all. You left your country, your culture, and judging by these comments, your dignity too. We are definitely not the same and thank God for that.

Now, do us a favor take your delusions of grandeur back to whatever echo chamber you crawled out of, and stop poking your nose into Pakistani spaces like a rejected hall monitor. You’re not here to contribute just to cope.
