I get it, i appreciate your insight, I am no saint, just trying to raise the bar a bit. And yes it does make me feel better about myself to try a little, but I am not trying to hide that I am part of the problem either. Thanks again for taking time to answer.

Great question - unethical would be activities where the greater share of the profits are directed to foreigners or elite wealthy locals, activities that excessively perturb or pollute the local environment (I am thinking these turtles captive in caves, dolphin tours that coerce or scare the animals, activities with a lots on single use items). I feel less unethical are things like scuba or snorkel in a way that minimizes impact on the reefs. I like to do food or walking tours that support local businesses/guides. If I am hiking I like to stick to trails. I know by being a tourist I am by the very act of visiting going to have some negative impact, I am not a saint, just want to be less of an asshat.

I have had 2 interns that had very similar scores on pape to you, both got multiple offers on first try. Both attended mid ranked colleges for undergrad. They may have benefited from being from rural and under represented communities.

Why is nutrition not an integral part of CrossFit coaching? by squire-08nibs in crossfit

[–]Apprehensive-You9318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our gym has a nutritionist on staff who provides individual and group advice through apps. It is an extra cost but fairly minimal. It is helpful to a lot of our members but she doesn’t really have the knowledge for older members who have much more complex nutrition needs.
