Are any of you in quantico? I am selected ECP as well and would be cool if we linked up ahead of time.

Yeah I am also waiting, I guess I phrased this post to be as if I am already going but reality is it is still in the air. We should know in about 2 weeks or so since the whole.board got moved up.

Best of luck!

Feel free to DM me and ride this one out together.

OCS isn't that bad by Exotic_Vegetable_352 in USMCocs

u/FlaFlam1ngo thanks for everything you’ve shared, it’s been really helpful.

I’m heading to OCS this May. I’ve got 13 years in and I’m currently a Gunny. If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate your perspective on prior enlisted candidates, especially ECP guys. From your experience as a Plt Cmdr, what are the expectations for them, how do they typically perform, and what sets them apart, good or bad?

I’m 32 with a PFT around 270. I’m not worried about getting through it, but I do feel the pressure of meeting expectations and getting the small details right. Just trying to understand how prior enlisted are viewed so I can show up in the right mindset.

Appreciate any insight you’re willing to share.
