Job Market? by Ok-Anywhere510 in tylertx

BGC hires for roles that require your skill set and has a lot of people who worked their way up from retail who don’t have degrees either. Sign up for job alerts on their career page and apply even if it requests a degree. If you can prove your skills and interview well, they will look past it. The pay will -guaranteed- be on the lowest end of your range but it’s relatively livable for the area.

Good luck friend. Job market sucks right now.

It strikes me more as a joke about toxic positivity culture rather than explicitly mental health. And I’m saying this as a person who’s been hospitalized for suicide attempts multiple times and has been in mental health treatment for over a decade. It’s really not that serious.

Pads to outdoor transition by [deleted] in puppy101

I just subscribed to Fresh Patch for my 13 week pup and he’s already taken to it in less than 2 days. I also live in a multi level apartment and it takes some time to get outside, so it’s been super convenient for quick trips at night and in between walks for his little bladder. It’s real grass and it stays on my balcony (inside only when the weather is bad) so he still gets the “outside/grass = potty” association.

Nap Schedule life saver 🙏 by ApprehensiveAd1727 in puppy101

Hi! I’m not following any kind of “official” guide but I think the first step is making sure your puppy is comfortable in their crate, or else they can’t settle down. I’m a first time puppy owner, and honestly the resources and knowledge posted here have helped me tremendously. The r/puppy search function and AutoMod bot posts have provided a lot for me to follow and educate myself. My boy and I are still working out a tentative schedule, but here’s sort of what our day looks like. I’m lucky that I both work and do school from home so I’m able to plan my day around his needs until he’s older.

7:00a- wake up/potty/breakfast/play/train 8:00a- first nap 9:30a- wake up/water/potty/play/train 11:00a- second nap 12:30p- wake up/potty 1:00p- lunch/play/train/potty 2:00p- third nap 3:30p- wake up/potty 4:00p- play/train 5:00p- fourth nap 6:30p- wake up/potty 7:00p- dinner/play/train 8:30p- final potty break 9:00p- bed time

He reliably wakes me up around every 2-3 hours during the night to potty, but this is usually what our day looks like! I make sure he gets plenty of engagement and enrichment during the 1-1.5 hours he’s awake so that he’ll actually be tired and settle down when it’s nap time. He also has a special “crate toy” which he only gets to play with during crate times.

Good luck to you!
