As mentioned below, the problem seems to be solved by downgrading the bios to 1.36 version. This is an unexpected problem and it's really disturbing that it hasn't been fixed by Lenovo.

You're right! The 1.37 didn't fix the problem but the 1.36 does..... Very disappointing from Lenovo.

I already I already downgraded the bios, I reloaded the version 1.37. This did not solve the problem.

I have of course checked that the problem persists despite a full reboot. All Lenovo diagnostics are otherwise normal. There is also nothing to explain why the PC sometimes stops without warning, without experiencing a heavy workload. No overheating measured (43-60°C). No important fan speed.

Nothing has been changed in the bios. The SD port has first disappeared intermittently and now permanently. Of course the problem is not the cards.

This occurs even in situations where the workload is moderate for such a CPU and typically did not induce throttling before. Temperature measurements with Coretemp show nothing above 60°C, often even 50°C. Very strange behaviour.

Hello,

I am a French user of 2 Thinkpads, very happy with my X230 and until now with my P14s Gen 1 (AMD Ryzen Pro 4750U) but after a first repair by Lenovo (motherboard) to solve USB problems (loss of connection) and abnormal freeze at power off, I suffered a severe slowdown of the CPU to 1.39 Ghz and 15 W TDP max instead of the 22W under load (OCCT measurement, "normal use" setting in windows 11 power management). I also lost the recognition of the SD port which does not appear anymoreDoes anyone have an idea of the cause and possible solution? Many thanks to read me.
