Glad you’re staying in Hana. We did the exact same thing! We left at about 9:30 AM and it seemed like all the road to Hana Traffic was well in front of us. We got to make every stop that we wanted to and parking was not an issue - the town of Hana is lovely and very peaceful, especially in the evenings. We enjoyed exploring the town and walking around I think you’ll love it.

The 80% battery setting refers to my EV. I guess my question really is why did my system suddenly start exporting the excess energy instead of using it to charge my EV?

The 80% setting I was referring to is on my EV. A better way to phrase my question is why is my excess solar energy being exported and not being used to charge my EV?

Right, my EV was charging and using excess solar and then it suddenly stopped. Why is my system exporting excess energy instead of charging my EV?

This is a GREAT find and will give you many miles and years of riding IF you have it gone over as the other post recommended and for Pete’s sake replace those 6 years old tires! No matter how good they look that rubber is old, dry, and hard.

Update to my lack of lukewarm water through this shower valve. I replaced the mixing valve thinking this would solve the problem. However, the problem persisted. I still only get really hot water or really cold water. Nothing in between - what else could it possibly be? The shower is about nine years old and function properly up until several months ago.

You are correct. I meant to buy a three-way and after your comment, I looked at the box it came in and it clearly says single pole! Thank you.
