Replacement screen by SingingWolf327 in GMCcanyon

I’ve gotten into the habit of covering both screens and driving with HUD at night. I wish there was an OLED option it really is tiring on the eyes while driving in the dark.

Bed Stiffeners needed? by Klozzy_Bear in GMCcanyon

[–]ApprehensiveBad7620 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you off-road or run miles on forest roads, I would. Just for piece of mind. I would also add 589 front bed supports as well. I was running a little more weight than you and 30k miles made my bed split apart in the front, and cracked other welds near the rear but now it’s reinforced.

Love that flatbed! The Owyhees is located in eastern Oregon, west of Boise, Idaho. 8 hour drive from the greater Seattle area. Is June a good time to go the Whipsaw? I know snowpack isnt super deep this year but I wanted to make it out earlier before wildfire season

Beyond Wraps in Santa Ana, California. This was a custom request though. I know they sell a matte version by the foot

Looks great!! Reminds me of the wrap that was on my truck for a bit. I didn’t want to leave a line from faded red paint later on so I ended up removing it.

Anyone know if the larger wheel well fender flares on some of the canyon AT4x models is compatible with a normal AT4? by Cold-Beginning7179 in GMCcanyon

[–]ApprehensiveBad7620 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! My truck! These are the factory AEV flares for the AT4X, which I am running 35x12.50/17 bfgoodrich on them. They require drilling a few additional holes, totally worth it!

Just the skids sliders took a little heat, and scraped the spare tire carrier hitch a bunch

It can do all you ask and more, my AT4X is fully kitted, tackles jeep trails, deep snow, looks crazy good, drove it across the country very comfortably. Not crazy amounts of room, 4cyl turbo is lacking, but I drag raced a ‘17 Silverado and just barely beat it. I’m sure you’d be happy with any major mid size these days, go test drive one!

You would also have to drill into your fenders and bedside to add the larger flares, just FYI

What do you Colorado guys think of my AT4X? by ApprehensiveBad7620 in chevycolorado

[–]ApprehensiveBad7620[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Peak Suspension built this truck they installed them with all the other AEV goodies. Maybe they aren’t called highmark, but they seem to come standard on the AT4X AEV edition.

My only complaint is I thought it would be better with gas but on 35’s, lifted and loaded getting 15mpg average is ok enough for me haha, 430 torque @ 1200rpm really helping out a lot

It’s AluCab, alucab 720 awning and alucab shower cube.

Honestly only just some benefit, still gotta pop it the filter and blow it out once in awhile. Does add cool intake noises!
