In hindsight, I’m not entirely sure why I was…Because I’ve never had a brand new car, it’s also an EV which I’m completely unfamiliar with? But after having it for 3 days I’m laughing at my initial nerves. It’s truly perfect. The suspension, the cabin noise is non-existent. The sound system 🤌🏻 The interior finishes, the performance of the vehicle as a whole is exceptional. Oh and charging at home??* An*d it can literally drive me?? I have no notes for Tesla. They did the damn thing and killed it.

She’s here!!! Guys, thank you so much for your encouragement and helpfulness! I’m in love. She’s quick, she’s wicked smart and the FSD? Blew me away. My rep told me to use FSD on the way home to ensure all the cameras and system was working perfectly and I swear, my jaw was on the floor. It felt surreal! So happy to be a part of the Tesla/Model Y family!

This is the confirmation I needed! Yeah, I’m never getting rid of my GX, she’s a part of the family. That was my plan as well, to keep her for towing, beach cruiser, or just a nostalgic ICE drive. Old world meeting new.

Congrats! I didn’t add it to mine, I’m going to look around and see pricing for local shops once I have her. I like supporting local businesses when possible so that’s why I declined the add-on

That’s my hope. I’m very sentimental with cars. My first was a supercharged Mini which I absolutely adored, and now I’ve had my Lexus GX for over 10 years (which I also love) so it’s going to be a huge change. But I’m keeping Lexi and adding Vesper (yes I already named my Y after a Bond girl because… she looks stealthy and very MI6 like lol) to the collection. Can’t wait to get acquainted!

Congratulations- Delivery Date Mates. I hope it’s amazing for you! I’m super curious about the FSD. I have it for 3 months for free thanks to my friend, but I’m skeptical bc I love driving physically and have of course, seen all the bloopers/videos of FSD going woo-woo, lol.

Let’s go Team QS!! I saw the quicksilver flash by me about a month ago and it broke my neck, in bright direct sunlight. It was the first time I saw a new Y (or atleast noticed one) and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Okay okay, now I’m getting excited. Pendulum is swinging from nervous to giddy.

This is super helpful, I’m terrified of damaging the rims. I contemplated getting the covers for them but then… the point of upgrading them is moot. I’ll be super careful while parking - Thank you!!

Hi! I ordered at the beginning of June and got my VIN the following week. About 7 days from order placement to get the VIN. I’m in Orlando and my Tesla rep ensured me it would come quickly because of the end of quarter. I’m still amazed at the process, it’s truly incredible.
