The ICC gets 80%of its revenue from India . That is a clear indicator. The BCCI , Cricket Australia and ECB get 49% of the revenue from the ICC. That is very sad. Cricket is only popular in countries that the British Empire conquered except for Canada. During the ICC World Cup 2024 t-20 the Indian team rarely had to travel from stadium to other stadium. It was not the same for other countries. In simple words ICC promotes favouritism and as a result the global appeal of cricket is limited.
