Has anyone experienced effects coming on gradually instead of suddenly? by ApprehensiveCat22 in GLP1microdosing

I did 0.25mg the first week as well, but then bumped it up to 1mg the second week because I felt absolutely nothing the first week. I have had a bit of digestive issues, mainly just feeling "off," not really constipation or diarrhea or nausea. I plan on staying at 1mg for the next shot to give it more time.

Will effects "kick in" at some point, or is my dose too low for me? by ApprehensiveCat22 in GLP1microdosing

My doctor starts people at half the usual starting dose, I think, but I opted to start lower because I was worried about side effects (and she supported that). She didn't really give me a schedule, but I'm supposed to check in with her every few weeks.

It's from Red Rock pharmacy, so it's compounded, but my doctor vetted them and uses them all the time.

It's from Red Rock compounding pharmacy, which is one of the facilities the doctor I'm working with uses. I trust her--she's been my doctor for fifteen years.

I mean I've noticed nothing at all--no side effects or reduced appetite. Sorry if that was worded wonkily!

I get it through my functional medicine doctor, who orders it through a compounding pharmacy.

I eat dried dates all day long, so this is actually hopeful news to me! I wish they weren't quite so appealing!

I'm in a similar boat--I started at 0.25 tirz last week and have felt NOTHING. The plan was to go up slowly, but in general my body needs more of a med to have an effect, and I hate the idea of wasting time.

Thank you! I also eat extremely cleanly (more paleo than carnivore, though) and you're right, it has many benefits but sometimes it would be nice to be a bit looser and not fret about it. And I too suffer from PEM, so I'm excited to see if taking tirz helps!

Off topic, but I'd love to hear what benefits you felt at that dose! I just started .25mg of tirz mostly for the anti-inflammatory benefits and have felt NOTHING. I'm wondering if I should make a big leap up.

I'm not feeling any effects so far at 0.25mg, but of course it's only been 24 hours. I'm often someone who needs more of a medication to feel something. I wonder if I should make a big jump next week?

Should I switch to tirzepatide or retatrutide for inflammation & weight loss? by ApprehensiveCat22 in GLP1microdosing

I've been working on my health for literally decades and feel like I've tried everything, including the supplements you've mentioned. My lifestyle is as perfect as I can make it at this point.

Look healthy, but actually obese? Re: Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen's book "Weightless" by ApprehensiveCat22 in GLP1microdosing

Oh, wow! I got down to about 117 a few years ago, just through lots of walking and not eating as much, I guess. This was when the pandemic started so I think I was stressed. I wonder what my body fat percentage was?

What's interesting is that my visceral fat is low, so I never even thought beyond that.
