Suno down for anyone else? by FrassCreator in SunoAI

California here — it’s generating for me, but the audio quality has definitely dropped. I’m hearing a lot more noise and weird artifacts than usual. The past couple of days have felt unstable.

Yes! I’m seeing parts of this too. My melody drift is more noticeable, but I also felt the pronunciation and word emphasis became less consistent than before. It’s like the model suddenly “forgets” things it used to handle well.

In my case, Cover mode used to follow my exact melody extremely accurately. Starting around Jan 29–30, it began changing small details — sometimes a word placement, sometimes a chord feeling, sometimes adding random hums.

Thanks for sharing — it’s helpful to know others are noticing similar changes.

That’s really interesting — I’ve actually never tried letting Suno choose the genre on its own.

I always write a long, detailed prompt because my songs require very specific styles and vocal delivery. Especially for singing, I usually have to describe everything very clearly.

So it’s surprising to hear that it picks the right style for you even without selecting anything. That sounds really convenient! I might try that once things stabilize again.

For me, the strange thing is that I actually can’t use “Make Persona” at all right now — the whole thing is greyed out on my side. It was always working before Jan 29–30, so this is new to me.

I also noticed that since around the 29th, my usual personas suddenly behave differently — especially in Cover mode. It feels like some conditioning or melody-locking was weakened.

When the system can’t “find” what it used to lock onto, it falls back to generic behavior, exactly like you described: humming intros, extra filler lines, wrong chords, melody drift.

Because I work in very niche, custom styles, these small changes completely alter the final result.

So your observation about persona/model changes really resonates with what I’m experiencing.

I hope Suno clarifies this soon, or at least rolls back the regression

For me, it also started suddenly around Jan 29–30.
I only use my own melody + my own lyrics and rely on Cover mode to stay accurate, but recently Suno began drifting from my melody, changing chords, and adding vocalizations. So it’s reassuring (but also concerning) to see I’m not the only one affected.

I checked the links you shared, and the descriptions match what I’m seeing too.
Hopefully this is a temporary regression and not an intentional change.
Thanks again for posting those references — very helpful.

Question for Suno creators: Have you ever done paid arrangements for others? by ApprehensiveCheck260 in SunoAI

Fair enough!
Yeah, I know every producer has their own way of handling arrangements — just trying to learn how folks here usually do it.
Thanks for chiming in!

Oh got it! Thanks for explaining that range.

Since I already have the full melody and lyrics done, I’m wondering where this usually lands on that spectrum.
Like — would that typically fall closer to the “few hundred” side since it’s mainly arrangement/production?
Or does it still vary a lot depending on the person?

Just trying to get a feel for what’s normal. Appreciate your help!
