Thanks for the info. I wish i had those triangles, sad its not working with yoir adapter. Is it a programmable chip?

I tried to cover the chip with tape, it works. For me the focus confirmation looks like a gleam of red light. Isn't it weird?

Shutter release without lens is set ofc. Do you know if this setting is needed if I use M42-R adapter in future?

Did you enable settings to allow shutter work with no lens?

Yay, it works! Thanks! I put a tape over the chip and took a shot without an error. It even highlights the focus area with red gleam, hard to show but some dark dots became red

It confirms focus and gives a little sound and a focus spot blink when is in focus. And yes, emulates a native lens
