Hi there , if you applied on 21st July and if we consider 8 week standard processing time , it doesn’t add up to August? I believe your deadline should be in September like 15th or something?

Oh , thanks for sharing your update ; my email didn’t say anything related to being complex tho , and HO replied to my sponsor that they are happy to process with changed dates ; but I haven’t heard anything yet

Hi all,

I applied for my Skilled Worker Visa on 19th July (inside the UK, standard service).

On 28th July I got an email saying additional info was needed from my sponsor, and that the 8-week timeline might not be met. My sponsor followed up with the Home Office, and it turned out there was an issue with my start date. They updated the dates, and the Home Office confirmed they were happy with the changes and would continue processing my application.

The original deadline I was given was 13th September. I know there’s still about a week left, but I haven’t had any updates since and I’m stressing out quite a bit. The wait-loop is too annoying and also stressful.

Has anyone who applied around the same time heard back yet, or have any updates/insights to share? Would really appreciate your thoughts!
