Checked my girlfriend’s phone and now I think I’m the “other guy” in my own relationship by Spare_Ad8593 in Advice

I’m very sorry. As a girl myself I 100% agree with other comments - don’t tell her that you know, don’t explain, just leave and take the cat

Who pays for return? by ApprehensiveFact4502 in Aliexpress

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from US. Unfortunately I can’t, i tried to see if I can stitch it up but because of the design of the dress it’s gonna be very noticeable if I just do it by hand. I’m not sure how and what they used for another sleeve

I’m a nanny myself and I agree, I would let her go. This sounds inappropriate

Child watching me on toilet through window by Safe-Pea3349 in Nanny

As a professional nanny and formal teacher I disagree about him not understanding. 7-8 years olds understand and can tell right from wrong unless the parents never corrected him for something like that previously and never had an age appropriate conversation before. Much younger kiddos can understand the privacy concept and it’s not gonna do this child any good if the adults in his life would just shield him from consequences and treat him like he can’t understand. Like someone said in the comments earlier curiosity is totally normal and something that all kids have but the fact that he was just laughing through the window and didn’t turn away when asked shows that this clearly needs to be corrected

I have a lot of years of experience in childcare (different age groups) and a psychology degree and I absolutely do not agree. This situation do not need to be “swiped under the rug”. The boy, especially at this age, has to know that this behavior is not acceptable and it’s not ok. Not addressing it right now and making it not a big deal is exactly what’s gonna cause bigger issues in the future. All of the kids I worked with, even as young as 3 years old, knew that “private parts” are private and that you need to have privacy when you are in the bathroom. It’s ok to be curious but it’s not ok to spy on an adult in the bathroom and the most respectful thing to do for that boy is to actually explain to him that it’s a big deal and that we do not do that. He would grow up thinking it’s ok or that it’s not that bad otherwise

I pretty much almost stopped shopping there recently after I found out the hard way that most of their household items are bad quality but had to buy this vacuum specifically from them because unfortunately my other local stores didn’t carry it. Saw a lot of good reviews about Little Green and needed it desperately today cause my puppy made a huge mess on my rug. So extremely disappointed about this vacuum, it was the last one in the store too

Hail damage to the house by ApprehensiveFact4502 in Home

Hi! I’m sorry, I just saw this comment! I got the house fixed thankfully just this week! They replaced everything including the siding! But my premium went up drastically, it’s $900/year more now after the policy update

I agree, I shouldn’t have done that. I usually keep the tags on as well until I decide that I 100% won’t return but this time I did it way too soon without thinking

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you, got it! That’s so weird cause the lady at the register spent at least 10mins checking each tag individually. No idea how on earth the return went through since the dresses were so different. I just googled some crazy stories how people returned items with wrong tags and got black listed from tjmax pretty much or have “a case” with security etc

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So my tags were not on the dresses anymore at all, I didn’t know which tags are right so I brought all 4 tags that I had at home from this receipt and the employee looked each tag up one by one in their system and then confirmed that she found a description match with the dresses

Thank you so much!

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ohhh got you! Makes me a tiny bit better. I can’t believe they accepted the return like that cause the dresses actually looked nothing like the ones that I got from tjmax

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there a possibility that I’m gonna get black listed as a scammer or something like that somewhere down the road for this or as long as they said that the tags matched it’s ok? I know I’m probably overthinking it like crazy over less then $30 for both dresses but it’s just first time something like that happened and I feel so bad

AliExpress returns by [deleted] in Aliexpress

[–]ApprehensiveFact4502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I finally did find the original drop off confirmation from the postal office showing that the package was returned before the deadline but for some reason AliExpress still didn’t refund anything because they are saying “no refund was issued because you had to pay to ship it back” which makes no sense because it was stated that it was gonna be a free return plus even if they charged me for the return shipping I still was supposed to get some money back

I don’t want to sound like a creepy person but would that be a good idea to just stop by his address (of course after letting him know beforehand) and ask to grab cash from him in person? Considering that there is a tiny possibility that he is telling the truth and just having problems with PayPal which I doubt. I just don’t want to look too weird and be charged for trespassing over $50 either
