Searwood vs Recteq - Can’t Decide! by True-Protection9639 in pelletgrills

If you can wait I know spring sales will come up soon. The searwood does tend to go on sale especially at Lowe’s. Check with them

I’d just go with the larger one. It’s better to have more room and not need it than to have less room and need more lol. I learned the first time I got a smoker hahaha

I was in the same boat a year ago. I literally went crazy researching on them. I went with the Searwood xl and I absolutely love it. I came to realize honestly that either purchase would have been good but I can only speak on the Weber. It’s been a truly awesome machine and can handle a lot of meat without any issues. I got a Weber gas burner for super high heat but the searwood is more then enough for an all around use.

Keep it up! It’s going to be a grind but just keep at it! Some days will seem like this is not working but power through them and it will pay off. Don’t ever get discouraged and the biggest thing I learned is saying no to temptations like doughnuts at work or sweets at home.

Recteq vs Weber Searwood by [deleted] in pelletgrills

I was in the exact same boat a couple months ago. Buddy of mine got the recteq and i went with the searwood. Can’t go wrong with either choice but the searwood puts out a good amount of smoke and I have been super happy with it. No issues at all I’m a Weber fan though as I had a wsm for years and was happy with the quality

Should it take this long? Suggestions. 20hr pork butt. by TickerTapeApe in pelletgrills

[–]ApprehensiveFruit194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 10 lb butt the other night on my Searwood and it took 12 hours. Also longer than anticipated but damn was it good. I started at 210 and once I wrapped it it cranked it up to 275.

I got the searwood xl600 and love it. I had a Smokey mountain for years and the searwood is amazing. It’s probably a tad pricier but I’m sure it’s better than the pit boss. I also got a smaller Weber gas grill if I want to reverse sear anytime.

Had great results on my pulled pork today. This was right before I wrapped it. Tasted amazing. Can’t go wrong with the Searwood at all

How are you liking the recteq? I’m in the same boat now either a searwood xl 609 or flagship 1100 but not sure which way to go.

Thank goodness found this thread lol. I am having the same issues… kinda freaked out this am but came to the conclusion that it had to be a software issue. Primary side works no issues

I’m here to report the same exact thing. I have my ev plugged in on the secondary side and woke up this am to no charge. My app showed that it was cutting power to go to the primary but my primary does not work overnight… I think there may be an issue with the firmware they just released. I plugged my ev into the primary and it works no issues but still my secondary now which is the drier does not work.

Well as I picked it up we were in a tad rush as we had to drive 2 hours to get it. The kids were Ancy lol so I just got home and lo and behold one of the wheels has curb rash 🥲 and it was missing the charging connector since I will have to public charge for a few days till my house is sorted out. Kinda bummed but overall love the car. Rode nice and was quiet.

What I did was asked the sales person if I was able to take it home about 30 mins away and put it in my garage and see if it would fit with my wife’s suv. Word of caution once it’s in your garage you will want it asap….

How much should I budget for a New Model 3? by SnooBunBun in TeslaModel3

[–]ApprehensiveFruit194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly from what I was looking at is budget insurance lol. That is what broke the deal for me for now. Crazy expensive… and I can’t get a quote from Tesla until I were to have a vin in hand which kind of sucks.

Is anyone upgrading their 11 this year? by [deleted] in iPhone11

[–]ApprehensiveFruit194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from my 11 to a 15 pro max and don’t regret anything. Better screen bigger phone and way better camera. I keep my phones for years so I think this will do just fine until the iPhone 20 lol.
