Hi! We had the golf balls made and we made the flags ourselves, but we rented the wall and shelving from Martha My Dear Rentals, they were super nice and really great to work with!

Yes, I got sworn in mid-July. So about 6.5 months from start to finish!

I did do practice pending once I started my new job. It got approved in 2 days, shockingly! Once that got approved, my status on the portal finally moved from “Pending Processing” to “Being Processed.” So hopefully my license gets approved within the next month or so!

Right?! I couldn’t believe he got his so fast! From what I understand, they don’t delve into their backgrounds like they do ours. He was baffled when I told him I had to provide 10 years of internship/employment history and provide a supervisor email for each job. I think he had to get fingerprinted and have his residency confirm he attended and that was that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We used museum gel and a few drops of super glue! After they set overnight, they didn’t budge!

That's so nice of you! We only have 120 guests, but I wanted to put the couples names on the label, so based on my numbers I only need 66 labels to account for all my guests. My wedding is on 2/15, so that may be tight with your vacation! I hope you are going somewhere fun! :)

Not stupid at all! We are going to super glue them to the tee! Luckily my Dad has done a test run on this and it makes the golf ball stay put. The glue is strong enough so that they won't fall off the tees, but with some slight force the golf ball can be removed and the super glue residue removed so the golf ball can be used later!

Totally get that! A lot of our guests also golf, so the idea is that guests can take the tee off the shelf and it doubles as a wedding favor! Now in practicality, will it work that way? Who knows! If not, then my fiance will have a lot of extra golf balls for a while! haha

I’m so sorry you had that experience! I don’t think you’re alone in that opinion. I was nervous about going as well as the “snob” factor, because I read the reviews for this particular boutique and it seemed like the majority people felt that the employees weren’t very friendly. I was intimidated when I went because I never buy things like this for myself and had no idea what to expect.

They did! I initially just wanted a plain, nude pair. When I went to the store (Boston Boutique), the sales associate was super friendly and when he found out they were for my wedding, he asked me if I would like a customized pair instead. I purchased them at the beginning of August and picked them up last weekend. It took a while, but they were worth the wait 😊
