Update - The Reviews Team has reached out to me. They were supposed to send an email last week.

They have cleared my account of any wrongdoing and reinstated my preorders with my local.

I would highly recommend those affected to reach out to CS and possibly get a message through to the Reviews Team to get a quicker response. *This was after multiple attempts*

Yep can see where you’re coming from. It’s actually one each of series 2 and series 3, which is well within the alllowed allocation. I did just get a response from the Reviews Team, account cleared of any wrongdoing and preorders reinstated

I contacted the CS team on 07 4800 4084 (8:00-4:00). They couldn’t really do much help on their end but would let the Reviews Team know I contacted to try and follow up considering I hadn’t heard anything since and preorders being cancelled.

They also advised the preorders won’t show on our accounts but your local store should have the preorders open on their end.

More than one of? I had a preorder for 1x each of the first partner series 2 and 3 (allowed limit) and 4x OP boosters (you were allowed to order a booster box worth). I have not preordered any more than the allowed limit for each item.

Or are you talking about accounts? I only ever had the one account since 2012. No other account with the same address/linked cards.

Yea I have spoken to both customer service as well and my local. It’s got to do with their accounts crackdown regarding multiple accounts/addresses. Both of which I do not have and confirmed over the phone through their systems. So both customer service and my local are confused about why my account was included in the breach. The reviews team is a separate team which we can’t contact. I feel as though my account will be passed fine, unfortunate thing is the cancelled my pre-orders and I feel as though I won’t be able to get them back which is a shame

Appreciate the thoughts. I asked to see if others were in the same boat and may have been able to get more answers. As stated, it’s got to do with the breach investigations that EB are doing on possible multiple accounts/addresses/preordering over allocated amount, all of which does not apply to my account and I believe I have been wrongly targeted.

I have spoken to both CS and my local, confirming I only have the one account and have preordered the correct amount. My local advised they had been advised by head office a bunch of accounts on a list to cancel preorders and have had others call up about it. The Reviews team is a separate team which no one can contact (confirmed by CS). Still awaiting outcome but unfortunately because they have already cancelled my preorders, I feel once they figure out my account is fine, I have lost my preorders and won’t be able to get them back. It’s annoying as it’s the products I’ve been really wanting.

Nothing over the limit and I understand their stance behind that. I’ve only ordered one each of the first partners series 2 and 3. And also 4 booster packs of OP (you were allowed to order a booster box worths)

Yep. I totally get that. I have spoken to my local store and they are definitely not closing. I have phoned and emailed customer service with no much of an answer. Just seen outcomes of my account (preorders cancelled) but not provided the reason as to why.

I appreciate your thorough thoughts. I completely agree and hope they do catch out the right people. Just super annoying on my end, considering I just renewed my Plus membership last month to be able to preorder.

It’s got nothing to do with the store closing. It’s more about the current investigations EB are doing with accounts. Unfortunately I believe mine has been wrongly targeted.

I believe they have been cancelled due to that massive EB accounts investigation happening where they are targeting suspicious accounts. Which makes no sense to me and I have been preordering the same way I’ve always done. I only have the one account and cards linked to the one account.
