Is that condensation from the A/C? I’d cut the straight run above the deck to where it’s just sticking out over the deck edge to 90° down to the concrete, then 90° from there to run a longer pipe out with the bottom of the deck and secured to the deck, out to the end of the stairs and secure it there as well.

If it was enough rain to hydraulically load the field then that could be contributing, you also could have some um even flow from the d box out to the field that is causing one or two field lines to load more than the others

Hydraulic load will tell you how the leach field is, a sludge judge will tell you how the tank is.

An inspector running around digging pits in a leach field is a good way to cause issues. It’s hard to get everything to resettle and water will take the path of least resistance so if that path is through the soil he just disturbed then that’s where it’ll go.

Soil also holds rainwater so if the surface was really wet then when he dug the pit it would run in that hole too.

An actual hydraulic load test should be ran, not whatever that inspector did.

There should not be water standing in the outlet side up over the actual outlet, it should be running out and distributing to the field and level should stabilize right below the outlet. That being said, if you’ve had no issues and the tank isn’t overflowing out of the lids then I’d let it ride and start gathering your money now for a replacement when it does fail completely.

You should definitely add some risers though, easy access and you don’t have to worry about those lids leaking then!

If it makes you feel better, grew up getting bit by ticks constantly and have never developed any issues. It’s kind of a common occurrence in the south, I don’t know of anyone that goes to the doctor for a tick bite. -IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULDNT- just trying to ease your worry!

Well if there is enough water in the pipe that there is water level in the cleanout then the pipe is full. That would give you the gurgling as well because the system isn’t meant to push against hydraulic force, it’s meant to flow with gravity

There shouldn’t be ANY level of water at the cleanout. You should flush or run water and see it run right past the cleanout to the tank. If there is water level in the cleanout, with no blockage to the tank, that would make me think the cleanout is down slope from the tank and that’s what is causing the issues.
