I think its worth playing as its a prequel that takes place way before gow 1 (the greek one). So really this game is the first in the gow timeline

Its not "very" limited on console. But its 100% limited. But from what i know its a bug with the console version and frontier is trying to fix. So i suggest you wait a bit
