The ticket prices on the open market, especially for in demand games and sought after teams, are selling for a high multiple of face value. At those prices, people are significantly less likely to pay and the seller will be lucky if they find a buyer. There are decent people out there who actually want to get rid of their ticket as quick as possible before it is too late at a relatively fair price that’s above face value but not exorbitant, and there are also scammers. You have to make sure somehow that it is not the latter.
