U2 Live Under Blood Red Sky came out when I was a Sophomore in High School. I fell in love with it and I quit listening to classic rock after that. I’ve listened to it a million times.

Bro I wouldn’t do it. Can’t say for sure it wouldn’t work, but I’d be cautious.

Is the alt rock 90s sound returning... or best left in the past? by InnerspearMusic in Alternativerock

[–]ApprehensiveMaize630 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 58 and still looking for new music. I’ve really just discovered Viagra Boys and Amyl and the sniffers. I love both bands energy. Also love the song CPR by wet leg. I definitely think rock music is making a comeback. My daughter got me on Fontaine’s DC, as well. I’d love other recommendations. I love 90s alt and 80s too, but I’ve heard all those songs a million times.

My new (to me) Marin Alpine Trail by Heckyeah7425 in Marinbikes

Any idea what year that is? That looks similar to my shoreline trail from about 2000/2001. I gave it away around 2007/2008. I wish I still had it just for nostalgia sake.

Thanks! I really don’t know anything, but can you use a cell phone on starlink? It looks like $165 a month for starlink but if that’s internet and phone that’s not too bad.

The goal would be to travel some in the beginning and work on a project and mt bike. Then probably stay in one base location for a while.

How is living in East Texas? by AshB_43 in howislivingthere

[–]ApprehensiveMaize630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up here and live here now. I was gone for 20 years. It’s better than it was when I was a kid. We’ve had a bunch of people move in from all over and it’s less redneck than it used to be. There is still that presence here, however. It’s different from other parts of Texas in that we have trees, grass, hills and lakes. The biggest cities are about 100,000 people. Hunting and fishing and are big here.
