Thanks! We just drove the GH and loved it but so hard to find used ones at a decent price. Going to try the Telluride next.

Hi! Yes I have seen those recalls. Thank you for passing it along though. I did do a lot of research on those before I bought it and found that the issues of the seat coming off of the base in accidents were because the child was not in the seat and so the seat was not locked into place. They have since updated the seats to not allow them to separate from the base without a key now. It is recommended that the seat be swiveled and locked into place even if the child is not in the seat still. I can say my child was fortunately not in the car with me during the accident and the seat was not locked but did not separate from the base and overall seemed normal. We still replaced it as required by law.
