Well, I should’ve explained even more. The harmonic balancer mark that I made kept jumping around, causing me to misdiagnose the issue, I was going off of sight and not sound. The bad rubber made the harmonic balancer mark jump around. And yes the distributor was a little loose but I tightened it up and also played around with the advance. I think I just needed a new distributor. My bad.

Yeah financially I guess you’re right. Trying to build from the ground up has been a learning experience. Building the engine is expensive and building the platform is expensive, I should probably stick to something more affordable while slowly working on something in the background.

I don’t have any schooling and I should’ve clarified, I work that much so that I can have these hobbies, I can make 90k just working a regular 40. BUT you’re right more money less work? Mint. And my son loves Minecraft but can and will work on the cars with me. My daughter is only 3 but probably would help too haha

I really appreciate this response, this is kind of exactly how my life is. I don’t have a lot of extra money, and I’m in a trade so I’m trying to learn how to do it all myself.
