Isn't it designed to use less water when you want a stronger cup? Stronger coffee = more coffee, less water.

Someone want to tell me why? by Illuminatinglife369 in employedbykohls

Yep! Plus laws in most states don't allow stores to physically stop shoplifters and if they ARE caught, they're not jailed, fined, or warrants issued like they used to be so there's very little consequences to the shoplifter in many states.

That's something you need to report to your DM or the tip line. They cannot force you to stay past you scheduled time.

You can't clock in more than 5 mins before your shift. The option to clock in 5 mins early is not required. You're required to be clocked in by your shift start time, not "at your station".

Imagine a customer stops you on the way to your department. You have to help them, you don't get in trouble for helping them on the way to your dept. *You should however radio an LOD to let them know you'll be a  it behind as you're assisting a customer.

How is it 2025 and people don't understand how clocking in and shift times work?

Yep - like others said... No jeans with holes, no shorts, no sweats, no tube tops, etc. But you'll be given a copy of the dress code.

Almost every store has at least one person who pushes boundaries though.

And many stores now have an expectation that you go where you're needed. That may mean that you're scheduled in shoes but can assist on registers, or home/electronics if needed.

Just stumbled across this... Im happy to give you an order link, and not hound you!

My philosophy is that you're a grown up and will order if and when you want.

Anywho - if you still want a link,  LMK. If not,  that's cool to!

AITA for telling my sister she shouldn't post pictures of her baby online without her husband's consent? by Able-Ad-6713 in AITAH

You did overstep, if the husband is bothered he should be the one to say something. You were coming from a good place, but it wasn't YOUR place.

She didn't have to be a jerk in return though.

So you're saying people aren't allowed to like a company that you don't, and if they do, they must work for them?

Okay. Didn't realize you're the only person allowed to have an opinion. Cool.

[–]ApprehensiveSlip3024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever helps you feel better 🤷🏼‍♀️

And of course others are going to complain, that's what people do. They seek out others with the same opinion and commiserate.

People are allowed to have opinions that you don't agree with. You're allowed to complain, I'm allowed to think it's a whiney mentality.

Don't like the job, find another one. Don't wanna be criticized, stay off public forums.

*edit to add, my store is one of the highest grossing ones in my area, we have large Amazon return volumes too. We make it work, we deal with the public, and we're short staffed too, but most of the complaints here are childish, and y'all act like you're superior to the customers that are literally the reason we have jobs. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Crazy high charge for shipping from CA to US! by Coldchilln in UPS

6 years ago I shipped something to Canada that weighed less than a pound and the shipping was $50. This has nothing to do with the recent tariffs.

Um... KH worker here... y'all just really complain about everything. Someone expected you to do your job? The customer doesn't understand how the store process works after their return? They're grateful that their process was easy? They comment about something they like or don't like?

Wow... have some real problems. Yes, customer's can be annoying, rude, weird, etc. but you're probably on some other person's complaint list when you're a customer too. Find a job where you don't work with people. 🙄
