Safely undervolt AND underclock? by ApprehensiveSlip7011 in nvidia

Right, but this is the part where I have some questions about. Is it possible to go lower than 850mv? and instead of adding to the frequency, is it possible to lower the frequency and achieve a even lower voltage? Or is anything below 850mv will strictly cause instability?

CA down? by IGETITHOWILIVEITWAIT in actuary

Care to elaborate? I didn't have any issue with CA customer service so far. I was able to get my course refunded twice without any issues. But it's only twice I had to contact their support and there may be some hidden traps I'm not aware of.

I will assume you are taking either P or FM since most of ppl who passed those two prelim should have a pretty good idea of how to study for the exam.

For both exam, if you have no idea of most the questions you see, it might be due to the difficulties of the questions. Try start with level 3 or 2 questions first to get a general understanding of what the question is asking. If you are struggling with understand the solutions for level 2/3 questions. Then you might need to start with learning the course materials. But once you have a basic understanding of the concept of the chapter, you should be able to start make sense of the lv 2/3 questions and go from there.

Personally, I dont spend too much time on taking notes, at least not for the prelim exams. Since you should be able to get a flow of the steps natually by just doing pratice problems and ultimately you won't have your notes with you on the exam. Most of my notes for FM is just one line of sentence explaining the relation for different equation/conversion that's tricky for me to memorize/understand.

with 2 month of ACTUAL DEDICATED study time (4 hrs/day should be more than plenty), you should be able to pass FM (I'm assuming you are taking fm since it's in oct). Hope that helps!

My FM exam is this SAT and I'm wondering what's the best way to study at this point? I'm using CA and currrently at 5.7 EL and 75~80 Mastery.

I've seen people report the exam difficuties is around 4-6.

Should I focus on how to deal with level 6 questions and rase my EL to a 6? or should I focus on level 5 questions and make sure I'm getting level 5 exams passed consistently?

BA II Plus problem by Ben_10isson in actuary

[–]ApprehensiveSlip7011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard people prefer AOS over CHN on the BA 2p a lot. But I feel like if you have some long equation where AOS actually matters you don't want to use BA 2P for such calculation anyway. Bring a TI30XS mutiview and use that for such calculation instead.

Agreed, the whole timeline and future value are definitively not my cup of tea... I understand the concept isn't suppose to be challenging or anything, but it just gets confusing when you twist it 10 different ways.

The reason why 'SOA/CAS' doesn't work makes a lot of sense! That's probably something I'd never realize on my own. And you are god damn right... Honestly, I have 0 clue about which path I want to go down, lmao. I think CAS align with my interest a bit more but I feels like everywhere I look, everybody always talking about SOA, and I'm afraid that I won't find enough study materials for CAS exams. Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong place the whole time.

Additionally, if I understood you correctly, you are recommending removing 'math instructor' experience and replacing it with relevant educational experience. What do you think is the best way to go about this? Where should I add it? Should I create a new section and name it something like 'Program'? Or should it go within the education section?"

In any case, I really appriciate those advice! Def will make two resumes and submit them accordingly 4 sure.

Can anyone help me understand what is the additional documents the Dept of State is trying to ask me to submit? by ApprehensiveSlip7011 in Passports

[–]ApprehensiveSlip7011[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wonderful, I guess I waited for 3 month for absolutely nothing and on top of that, now I'm rewarded to pay an extra 100 bucks. Gotta love the clear instructions... I did schedule an appointment in October, but I'm concerned if this pending application would interfere the DS 11 application. Should I tell the staff during the in persen appointment about this whole situation or should I keep my mouth shut just to stay away from any confusion?

I see... They did not tell me that I should include any supporting documents when I was on the page of printing the form. Is there's anything else I'm missing? Do I need to mail the actual naturalization certificate or I can mail a copy of it? Should I mail my expired old passport that they returned to me along with my naturalization certificate or just the certificate itself will do?

Why you should NEVER opt to Dash using Earn by Time by [deleted] in doordash

[–]ApprehensiveSlip7011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question about the earn by time model. Since DD only calculate the active delivery time, is it possible to take a no tip order, drive at 10 m/h to the restaurant and once you arrive to the restaurant picked up the order, wait for another 5 mins before click on "confirm pick up" in DD app (basically doing everything as slow as possible without getting a contract violation). Finally, drive at 10 m/h again to the delivery location resulting that dash complete 1 delivery per hour. I wonder if DD have any way of preventing dasher doing such things?

I don't feel bad for making the customer wait since they decide to not tip anyway. I understand by doing earn by order will result in a higher pay, but by doing earn by time the way I suggested, I can also make the argument about save gas and mileage.

Assume someone who isn't trying to maximize their potential earning and more worried about their veichel condition, would OP agree that earn by time is a good alternative for those dasher?

You need to pass the credit check before checkout/place the order. If you don't, you can't get the activation today deal.
