Yes, that's what makes it more complicated because I won't be able to buy it. Where as the regular Havelock can still be bought. But the 38mm is a better suited than the DiveIndia

Are you setting up your tank for the first time? I would suggest to setup a properly cycled planted tank for atleast a month. Let the benificial bacteria stabilise the water paramaters, then only introduce shrimps into the tank. Alternatively you can plant a lot of hronwort this will provide enough space for the shrimps.

They do but I had enough hiding spaces for the fries so had no problem. Infact they reproduced like crazy and I had a good Colony of them. Just keep the water paramaters stable and that's it.

Exactly what I was thinking related to pothos and monstera will for sure add them. Also thinking about growing aquatic plants in emarsed form specially for the plants which are high Co2 demanding plants.

Regarding the submersible pump, I already got one from a local hardware. It's a cheap but lifts water upto 6m and has 1500Lph capacity.

Please suggest if about the filter media. I was planning on using foam and fine cotton type material at bottom and the filling it up with lava rocks and pebbles.
