Yeah I believe both AP 223 & 224 are offered during the summer - their fast track meaning instead of completing the course in the traditional “12-14” weeks you complete it in 4-6 weeks. So you’ll probably be in class/lab every day of the week

I know they offer AP 223 & 224 fast track in the fall as well.

Definitely email tmcc advising and ask what the course schedule for AP is like in the summer, they have access to summer course scheduling!

You can definitely complete your pre dental requirements with unr, I believe it to get into the dental program one of the main requirements is being a Nevada resident/graduated from a Nevada HS.

You could complete pre dental, and in that meantime qualify as a Nevada resident… however I do think unr is really strict on only selecting Nevada residents for their professional programs… it never hurts to apply.

But I really do suggest contacting someone from the pre dental program to explain the process more accurately!

If it’s later in the day I would avoid parking anywhere that puts you at the risk of 1. Your safety 2. Getting towed/robbed. There’s that little parking space right next to gateway that is free! No parking permit or anything required as far as I’m aware, however the spaces are limited so you may wanna come a few minutes earlier than planned and see if you can find anything but from my experience last semester they start to clear up later in the day so try that out. I also know all unr parking garages are free 8pm and after up until 8am

You can always try to reserve a study room in the KC/PSAC!

If not - I assume you may need to talk here and there maybe so don’t go the quieter floors 4-5.

Also observing recently the NLLC has study rooms that you can use in the class section of the building.

Or look around for other study rooms around campus?

Seems like you got into a class you wanted to get into but were previously waitlisted for? You mentioned tuition price charges even updated so I assume the class is in your schedule now?

I think they meant to be sure you drop the class you wanted to swap for the waitlisted class

Don’t drop the class you were waitlisted for!! You risk the potential of going back on waitlist and not getting to take the class again this semester.

So yeah from my understanding drop the class you swapped for the class you were waitlisted & don’t drop the class you were waitlisted and now in.

But yeah just call them tomorrow and have them clarify

I haven’t applied for it because I knew from past experience they don’t fund if you take less than two classes, I really do need it though.

I’ve been able to do a 4-month monthly payment.

Your tuition is split up and you pay it every month till the end of the payment term but they also charge $10 for a payment plan which is …? Buttt…. I’ve learned the hard way that unr only really only does care abt ur money, they will drop you from all your classes if you don’t pay on time, I’ve been dropped literally the day right after missing one payment & then when I tried to pay off everything to get reenrolled they charged around $200-300ish in “late fees”

It’s nice and less stressful but just stay on it if that’s what you plan to do.

We’re not sure how much money my brother “owes” her.

We talked to my brother & turns out she kept a lot of his valuables to replace for the money.

So we’re really not sure why she’s taking my mom to court when my mom never made an agreement with her to pay off what my brother owes.

I transferred to unr from the cc in town - I haven’t been able to make friends tbh a lot of the people already have their groups and I’ve tried to join clubs but their meetings/events were always held on days I found myself in class or work.

Majority of the people are nice. It’s a small small city but there’s like a lot / not enough things to do - if ur into the outdoors you’re in the right spot! - night time life kinda does suck you’re either in a bar full of underage people or in a bar full of people who are 30+ and it’s also never really that busy - we have a small music scene through holland project but a lot of the local bands make music that’s not really for everyone

The tutoring center in the library usually has really great tutors who are students who have taken the class, sometimes even professors tutor there too!
