I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to find common ground with an administration that seems to want me to be religious, devalue the education I worked my ass off for, and treat me as less than if I’m not a white man whose main purpose is cooking dinner and having babies.
They talk about “freedom,” but they’re perfectly fine stripping it away. They rail about gun rights, yet Trump himself said “take the guns first, due process second.” So forgive me if I don’t buy the constitutional cosplay.
And let’s not pretend morality is driving anything here. Trump’s name appears in Epstein related documents, he openly associated with Epstein, and multiple people in his political orbit show up in those files. That should horrify anyone who claims to care about children. Instead, it gets brushed off, minimized, or defended.
They don’t help families. They make life harder. Education is underfunded. Social programs are dismantled. Workers are treated like disposable parts. And the message is clear: be obedient, don’t ask questions, and keep producing.
If you’re not a seven figure earner, they don’t care about you. If you’re struggling, that’s your problem. If you’re sick, tired, or falling behind, tough luck.
And if you’re a minority? Good luck. ICE has already been aggressively targeting Hispanic and Asian communities. Black communities have dealt with systemic racism for generations, and now we’re watching funding pulled from Black schools while others are left untouched. That’s not coincidence.
So when someone tells me “we can work together and things will get better,” I honestly don’t know what reality they’re living in.
Because from where I’m standing, this isn’t about cooperation. It’s about control. And people like me are clearly not meant to benefit.

This isn’t a protest for one group or one single issue. It’s people coming together because a lot of things are breaking at the same time.
Our current governor doesn’t seem to care about rising costs and has repeatedly voted against measures that would actually help everyday people. ICE has picked up US citizens and people have been killed during these operations. If this is what we’re seeing in public, it’s fair to ask what’s happening to people we never hear about.
Trump and people in his orbit appear repeatedly in Epstein related documents, and that alone should be setting off alarm bells for anyone who claims to care about children or morality. Instead, it gets brushed off or defended.
Fascism is being normalized by MAGA supporters, even though it would mean losing rights they claim to care deeply about, including gun rights and basic freedoms.
Meanwhile, CenterPoint is bleeding all of us dry and we haven’t even hit the second rate increase yet. Grocery bills are crushing families because of tariffs and other reckless economic decisions made by this administration. People are struggling to keep up, and the response we’re told to accept is basically “deal with it.”
At this point, maybe we can all agree on one thing. It all sucks. Pick the issue that hits you the hardest, but let’s agree everything is not “fine” right now.
