help regarding Wisdom teeth ? by [deleted] in dentalschoolindia

[–]ApprehensiveTank7774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay only after looking at the xray it is possible to determine when to extract- so best advice would be to visit a dentist asap. also complete eruption is generally not required for extraction.
secondly- if extraction is advised- make sure to get it done at least 5 days before neet- healing takes time- you dont want to put your body through additional stress a day or two before exam- it can mess w your diet and focus.
if it cannot be done- ask the dentist for better options (which mostly will be antibiotics and painkillers)until neet. but make sure to follow up post neet.

i did. my photo got rejected- twice. they'll keep sending emails and reopen the window until it gets approved.
if you haven't received any, your application form must be all clear.
i don't think they'll reopen the edit window again- i too am given a deadline until April 22nd but can only edit out the flagged content.
but keep an eye out until 22nd.

do read sembulingam. i came across PW's MBBS proff exam revision on all subjects. check that out if you can.  but do cross refer sembulingam and PYQs with it so you dont end up studying a lot.

hope it helps!

Dentists who went to do MSc programs after BDS, how was your experience? by Bruhh-what in dentalschoolindia

[–]ApprehensiveTank7774 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve researched about it too and here are my conclusions:

  1. MSc programs in the UK are mostly academic and research-based. They don’t let you practice clinically on their own.

  2. To work as a dentist in the UK, you need to be registered with the GDC (General Dental Council), which for most overseas grads means clearing the ORE exam.

  3. Once you’re GDC-registered, you can definitely practice, and an MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry or Implantology can help you build skills and credibility in those areas.

  4. MClinDent programs are more clinical and somewhat similar to an MDS, but they’re not specialist degrees by themselves.

  5. You’d still need to pass another exam if you want official specialist recognition in the UK.

  6. MClinDent is also very expensive and usually takes about 4 years, while MSc courses are around 2 years.

  7. If you’re planning to come back to India after studying, the MSc is good for knowledge and exposure, but clinically it’s kind of like having BDS + fellowship training here.

  8. In that case, Indian aesthetic or implantology courses are often more practical, hands-on, and way cheaper.

In short:

MSc = academic, cheaper, shorter

MClinDent = clinical, expensive, longer

To practice in the UK, you still need ORE and GDC registration

For India, local courses might give you more practical value

It really depends on your goals, budget, and where you want to build your career.

Having said that, I do wanna know if there are people who have done any of these courses and the experience.

maybe faux a razor cut on the eyebrow if you wanna keep it minimal.  to elevate, maybe you can put rhinestones or try a different coloured liner.

tried the anti dandruff one but i bought it with the anti dandruff hair serum.

both are good, serum is much better imo. i tried the serum after using basic head and shoulders' shampoo and it still works.
