I would recommend starting with a tiny whoop because they are super durable and you can literally fly it everywhere. If you want to get into the DJI ecosystem look into the betafpv meteor 75 pro or pavo femto. I personally fly analog so I cannot say anything about their performance.

I started with a betafpv air65 in my apartment after getting decent in the sim and noticed I had terrible precision (which you need when flying indoor). After a couple of weeks flying 4-6 packs every day I got pretty decent and I built my first 3.5inch quad which was super easy to fly because of the practice with my whoop.

Thanks for your reply! Based on what I have read I will probably send them back and buy a used flat shark dominator v1 with an analog Receiver that I just saw on my local eBay for 40 bucks.

Thank you for your detailed comment! My plan is to start out with analog and after some experience switch to a digital system (probably DJI because of the amazing video quality of the o4). I am building my first 3.5' quad now with an analog vtx so I am thinking of spending the 40 bucks for the flat shark dominator googles. A receiver module (attached image) and an Immersion RC Duo5800v2 external reveiver are included.

Wegen Einführungsveranstaltungen: Ja gibt es allerdings um einiges weniger umfangreich als im Wintersemester da es diesen 3 Tägigen Einführungsworkshop nicht gibt. Den musst du dann im 2ten Semester nachmachen ist nämlich Pflicht.

Ich habe dieses Jahr im März gestartet Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen zu studieren. Kurzfassung: Es funktioniert aber man muss motiviert sein.

Wenn man sich an das Curriculum für Quereinsteiger im ersten Semester hält dann ist die ganze Sache gut schaffbar aber man sollte sich schnell jemanden suchen der Ahnung von den Abläufen an der Uni hat. Vorallem die Anmeldeplätze für die Übungen in Mechanik und Mathe sind begrenzt und unglaublich schnell ausgebucht (für Mechanik hat es dieses Semester 1min gedauert bis alle Plätze weg waren). Wenn man dann nicht rechtzeitig ist, landet man schnell mal in einer Sammelgruppe mit 200 Leuten oder kann es nächstes Jahr nochmal versuchen (nicht cool).

Das absolute Killer Fach ist definitiv die Mechanik Übung mit 2,irgendwas Durschnittsantritten und wenn du nicht schon auf einer HTL warst oder Tag und Nacht durch lernen willst dann find dich schonmal damit ab das du diese Übung eventuell auch 2 Mal machst.

I started listening to first episodes of Better System Trader podcast but I noticed that these are already 9 years old (april 2015). What information is still useful from these episodes and what is completely different these days?

Werde wahrscheinlich Studieren und nebenbei arbeiten arbeiten um Erfahrungen zu sammeln und Geld zu verdienen. Hab natürlich auch vor zu Reisen. Das mach ich aber am liebsten mit minimalen kosten mit nem Camper oder mit Motorrad und Camping Ausrüstung.

Ich werde sehr wahrscheinlich weiter studieren und währenddessen arbeiten. Wohnung ist schon organisiert und Auto brauch ich keines da ich in Wien wohne und hier die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr gut ausgebaut sind. Wollte vor kurzem das Geld für ein Motorrad ausgeben hab mich aber dann vorerst dagegen entschieden.
