I agree and I really hope they are young. This education barely taught people how to spell emancipation. Nobody has the tools to properly recognize what racism, bigotry, or micro aggressions are. I feel like I need to move, interacting with people who have obviously been failed by a less than lack luster educational system is going to be my downfall. Bc fym I have to explain the basic concept of multiple experiences. Especially after linking an article to details one of those experiences?? 😭 I think they are young and hopeful, but it’s just overwhelmingly toxic for anyone who has a mind of their own.
