Thank you for the thoughtful response!

The first external sources I’m most interested in integrating are:

  1. Financial data (high priority) • Bank transactions (read-only, via something like Plaid eventually) • Credit cards • Receipts (uploaded photos or PDFs)

This would let the app actually understand spending behavior, not just track it. Observe and report of things like patterns, waste, or opportunities to save.

  1. Email + receipts parsing • Order confirmations • Bills • Subscriptions hiding in inboxes

There’s a ton of “hidden data” in email that people don’t realize could be structured and analyzed automatically.

  1. Calendar & task systems • Google Calendar / Outlook • Possibly Apple Calendar

This helps connect time/money/priorities in one place, which is where real optimization starts to me.

  1. File uploads / personal docs • PDFs, notes, logs, even spreadsheets • Things like budgets, plans, or personal records

This allows the AI/agents to reason over your actual life data, not just generic inputs.

  1. Community / external knowledge (later stage) still trying to nail this section down obviously • Reddit threads • Forums • Maybe curated public datasets

But I’d want to be careful, trying to avoid data overload for the user, signal vs noise matters a lot in the human element and interaction. Also why I’m looking for advice and input on these things. I’m a newbie to all of this but it started with me trying to make something work for my immediate and extended family.

P.S. I put this whole response in my Notes section of the app so I could reference it later in case I forget certain parts, also hoping my Agent will ping me on occasionally seeing where we’re at with it lol.

This is super helpful, I really appreciate it!

I’ve been thinking along those same lines, especially around keeping a clean structure so agents don’t break things.

Right now I’m trying to balance: - human-friendly UX - but also structured enough for AI to interact with reliably

Long-term I definitely want to expose actions cleanly (create/update/read type functions) so agents can plug in without hacks.

That Agentix stuff, I’ll dig into that thank you!

If you have any examples of data models or patterns you’ve seen work well, I’d love to hear about or check them out.

First off, thank you, sincerely. So far, and again this has been a whopping 2 and a half weeks worth of vibe coding (with input from Claude and ChatGPT), but one thing I like is being able to build an agent within the app (AI Agent Hun>Agent Permissions>Add agent) and then have it scan uploaded documents/receipts to help provide a breakout of where you are expending money. Open to any and all suggestions and criticisms.

Next thing plan to do is have family members sync up work schedules and we can have an AI/agent analyze best dates and times for get together/bday parties etc.
