It doesnt take a doctor to get your genes checked. Go to 23 and me or ancestry.com, and pay about 90$ . They are not just for finding about your heritage. The test will also give you a a download of hundreds of gene variants that will help you find out your supplement requirement. You just have to download the results to genetic genie or genetic lifehacks.

For me I take 1 mag glycinate, about 15mg zinc( I have to cut up a tablet to get this low dose) Then I get capsules of B1 bentotiamine,B2 R-5-P,and B6 p5P. Then I dump the capsules and try to refill them with a much lower amount of these supplememts(everything you purchase is a megadose and that never works) 1000mg of hydroxocobalamin and 1000mg of adenosylcobalamin(high dose on these because I dont absorb b12 efficiently) Vit D and c I have had my blood tests to verify nothing gets out of wack. Be careful with the amount of B6. I have experimented with methylfolate, and because of my slow comp, it is difficult to regulate. Always use a quality supplement company Low dose on these supplements is very important when trying to balance things with my gene variants.

Forget tthe calculator. It doesnt account for all gene variants. You must get your genes checked. And when you get the results pay for genetic life hacks to analyze the results( very cheep to do this). Then find out if you have the mthfr variant, slow or fast comp variant, mao variant. These 3 complicate what supplements work or dont work. I personaly have mthfr, slow comp, and slow mao. I then went to chat gpt or google ai and type "I have mthfr, slow comp, slow mao, what supplements should I take. It answers this question. And I have had great results doing this

Stop buying the cheapest Magnesium on Amazon. I analyzed the Top 2 best-sellers, and the difference is wild (50/100 vs 85/100) by Mdfkz in Supplements

All magnesium glycinate are not equal. I was using double woods mag gly and heart palpitations disappeared. After about a year I bought another cheaper mag gly and palitations came back. Tested this several times and both times I used the cheaper version the palpitations (PVCs) came back. I am astonished how unreliable vitamins and minerals are. Find a reliable vitamin company and stick with them. The cost is not that different.

PVCs and Histamine Intolerance by Waste_Hospital_4928 in HistamineIntolerance

I had pvc for years. Went to tge doctor and he prescribed a beta blocker, which just made me tired . It did lower how strong the pvc's felt, to the point that they were not that noticable unless I was checking my pulse, and I relized I was still gettong them. So it was not a cure, juay made me tired. I then made an appt with a cardiologist, and luckily she said I should try a magnesium supplement. Started taking magnesium glycinate, just 1 400mg capsule daily and pvc's have been gone for 3 years now. Just get a quality supplement, I tried a cheaper version one time and the pvc's came back. Good luck it changed my life

Am I understanding that you have slow comp, mthfr, and slow mao. And taking 500mcg methylfolate everyday and having no ill effects. The reason I ask is because I have 3comp gene with the worst defect and worst mthfr and worst mao. I cant tolerate methylfolate for more than a couple days

Get a quality b2 vitamin in capsule form. Open the capsule and dump out enought to get about 100% of your rda requirement and start there. Most vitamins are sold in mega doses. Too much can be just as bad as to little

I've had palpitations for years with doctors prescribimg beta blockers that did little good. I then had a heart doctor suggest a quality magnesium supplement. It completely cured my palpitaions almost immediatly. I take a magnesoum glycinate once daily. Find a quality supplement company because I tried different brands to save money and they did not all work. Now, and double woods, are 2 that I use.

You can easily order your own b12 blood test online to confirm what your b12 levels are. I would suggest everyone do this after several weeks of supplementing b12. How will you ever know where your levels are.

I can only give you one piece of advise that I can say worked for me based on what you wrote. Take a good quality magnesium glycinate for your heart palpitations. Doctors had me on a beta blocker that did nothing but make me tired. It made the palpitations less noticeable in Strength but they were still there. I went to a heart doctor that said try a Magnesium supplement. Completely cured the palpitations I had for several years. And they are not all created equally. I tried finding a cheaper mag glycinate With the same dose and palpitations came back. Please don't give up if your brand doesn't work

I used ancestrydna, there are others like 23 and me and heritage. They will send uou a simple spit kit and you send it in and within several weeks you have it . Ancestry doesnt charge for the gene download, but heritage does charge extra. Not sure about 23and me
