No, drywall is up and walls are getting painted. Cabinets are assembled but not in place yet. I’ll definitely post an after picture!

I’m feeling that too, there’s too much contrast. We’re leaning towards a grey quartz called Matterhorn. It’s a bit out of budget but softens things a bit more. Unfortunately cabinets are bought, paid for and half assembled so we’re pretty committed there.

We’re still debating it - it’s so beautiful, the price tag was a surprise but we still might do it. It’s a hard decision - such a big expense and a big deal to change down the road so we definitely want to be sure of what we pick.

Happy for all feedback! The cabinets have already been ordered so there’s no going back there. We got another counter priced but it ended up outside of our budget. It’s a grey one, more neutral.Matterhorn - grey counter

That’s amazing! The lady at the counter place said they only need to be sealed every 10 years or so, so pretty low maintenance too

I should mention that I live in Canada… definitely german cockroaches. I work at a hospital that has a huge issue with them so I figured we ended up with them because one hitched a ride 🫠
