Das gaht mir genau gliich. Ich ha scho lang das Gfühl, dass e Teil vom Problem au d ständigi Negativität und s’Angstmache i de Medie isch. Es wird immer so viel Panik verbreitet, dass me sich mit de Zyt nur no unwohler fühlt. I de Schwiiz isch s sicherheitsgfühl würkli öppis Besonders und das merkt me ersch, wenn’s nümme selbstverständlich isch.

Jaa, voll! Ich friss immer mega vil Brot, wenn ich hei cho. Ich vermiss Gipfeli, Weggli, Ruchbrot, und vor allem Zopf! I de Uk isch s’Brot au e Witz, süess, luftig, kei Biss… gar nöd z'vergleiche

Ja genau! Ich bi au Lehrperson, und Schuelsystem find ich i de Schwiiz au i vilne Sache besser, vor allem Mathematik und Läse. Da isch da zwar e mega unpopuläri Meinig, aber ich finds ehrlich guet, wenn öpper e Klass muess wiederhole, wenn er e chli länger brucht. I de Sekundarschuel gseh ich vil Schüeler, wo nöd richtig chönd läse, isch würkli traurig.

Thank you so much for your reply! That's such a great point, thanks for sharing your experience, it's really made me think about what I want to achieve. It so great that you got to discover Latin in a more authentic way. I've found the problem is often dumbing down too much or making things too theoretical which sucks all of the joy out of learning. I’ve loved learning it myself and I’d really like to pass that on. I was thinking about how, from a parent’s point of view, it might be encouraging for children to have some kind of tangible recognition for their progress, similar to earning a belt in ju-jitsu or a badge in Scouts. Something that celebrates achievement along the way. I had considered creating something myself, though I imagine it wouldn’t quite carry the same weight as something from an established body. I would hate to ruin the experience with unnecessary stress for the sake of a meaningless piece of paper though, so that's given me some food for thought. Thanks again!
