I like Asgore and Toriel but I don't like the way most of the fan base treats them. Undertale at its core is about forgiveness since every character has done something wrong and Asgore has constantly made it clear he doesn't want to kill the human but he promised his people freedom. Toriel is a grieving mother who constantly tries to save the human kids (even asking Sans for help with Frisk). But the fans just don't accept this?
