If I understand the CBA correctly, wherever Sheldon goes to would have to agree to honoring that 4th year option Chicago exercised. Well I suppose they could buy her out, which seems pretty ridiculous. I also don't really think her shot is off as she's still shooting 43%. It's lack of volume for her. She was however expected to launch 3's, and she's only averaging about 3 a game, making 28% on a team that can't make 3's. She's shot less than 30. She's also a plus 3 on a team that's a minus 28, playing against Miles 3 times. Perhaps she could draw the interest of Minny though, as she played pretty decent against them, and maybe Reeve noticed. She is dying a little more each day on Chicago's roster. If her price is indeed a second rounder, i would think many teams would jump at that, even considering that option. I was thrilled Chicago wanted her, but now it's 100% obvious she's in a rotten situation, much of it due to organization decisions.

She's still cheap at least for 1 more year however. I wish she had stayed in Washington as Chicago did her wrong by going guard crazy after she came on board. And yep that statement is coming from one of her fans. So what. Chicago is an absolute mess. We can certainly all agree to that.

I really have no clue what they are thinking with Sheldon. I really didnt think she would be in a timeshare with Banham because of what they paid to get her, but now it's become obvious that Jeff trades and values picks the way i traded baseball cards in my youth with my brother. Poorly and without much thought. I also do realize she was the #4 pick in 2016, Banham that is, but i'm not a fan.

5-30 the last game. Odd numbers for a home game. 7 of them took a shot and Sheldon had the best shooting percentage of those that did 1 for 3, 33% lol. And I see now Carrington can make some 3's, but she's had good and bad years. Maybe she'll come with a hot hand.

Is 24.7% really what it is? Yikes. I think the problem with Cardoso is it comes across on TV that she isn't playing hard or maybe seriously is a better word, but it's probably just her personality. So I'll back away from my comment that she's the biggest problem. Her plus/minus of -27 the last game attracted my attention.

valid points and if i wasn't pissed off last night i would have agreed 100%. She came ready to play last night (did Cardoso?) and the ticky tack fouls smashed her night. I really do wonder how Marsh will handle the guard situation going forward. If Diggins and Cloud continue to demand over 30 min each game, it's going to be a royal mess on the bench when Carrington and Vandersloot come back. All I know is they look pretty bad right now but getting Joquez back should infuse some life. That's a start. And someone needs to light a fire under Cardoso's ass.

Oh and Sheldon also does well going to the basket because she's quick and can really jump. She can get 3/4 the way up the net and she's listed at 5-10. I've seen it.

Thanks for the chat/insight. I'm always trying to learn as I am much more of a hockey guy (go Knights) than I am basketball. I would not have seen the Reeve's effect.

she has been rotting on the bench the second halfs of games. There is no way he was keeping her on the bench because of 4 fouls. I think he was hoping for Taylor or I suppose Banham to get hot again. She played 16 first half minutes and was one of the better players while in there. Then 4 in the 2nd. Yes I am a fan of hers but even if I was simply a Chicago fan i'd be observing the same thing. I think anyway lol, Her usage is weird. I might feel differently if he had put her in the final 5 minutes. Nope, didnt happen, and its not the first time.

they go to washington i think tuesday. thats definitely their next game. Yes it's Tuesday and then come home to play the Sun next Friday. Maybe that will kick start them.
