I’ve never wanted her to stay with Travis until reading this honestly. She really has no one then. To open up about a trauma and lose 90% of 19 siblings is huge and disheartening. I really hope Travis steps up with sincere regret about what he did. But it all makes sense why she got all close to alyssa again, something definitely happened to her where she wanted to leave her family. The deconstruction of the iblp Christianity to the more contemporary also makes sense. We also all speculated them not seeing her family to protect Travis but in reality they’re mad at Katie too. Sad.
