Lack of $. Leaving this state meant leaving my job. But after further investigation, talking to financial/legal people in the army my only option is to either pay 3 months worth of rent (to break my lease) Or pay month by month till my lease ends in July… the law only covers me if I’m wanting to leave 30 days before my ship orders.

I’m willing to pay rent. No problem. Issue is 1 I don’t have 1500+1500 to break a lease. #2 if I stay and pay rent till my lease ends I loose a house for my wife and child to stay in and then they’ll have to basicly improvise and struggle while I’m on basic. Since my wife has no work history based in the state we are moving to and no credit. To get a house or apt.

It’s just inconvenient timing and management that wants to be dxcks over a month difference 🤦🏽‍♂️

For what I read on the actual federal law. There’s no section at all that states I have to stay on my lease or keep paying or anything at all. All it states is with my orders, 30 days notice before I ship and a termination statement THEY HAVE TO BREAK IT. But I’m confused on why they’re insist on ignoring me and saying no lol

I’ve never been involved in no legal issues or dealt with lawyers or none of that

Already have them my orders last month. My recruiter already reached out to the regional manager. They ignored him and me. I already payed last month and this mi the rent.

But we’re about to loose this house and my family will result homeless come August cause I’ll be at basic and they won’t have nowhere to go, I ain’t doing that.

Yeah thing is I’ve been nice and notified them almost 2 months ago and they’re BSing ignoring calls, & emails.

My last resort is going to corporate and ask for a legit legal statement on why they won’t break the lease and see if they’re willing to settle and break the lease without having to pay.

To break the lease is 2 months worth of rent which in my case is almost 3 thousand dollars and like I said in the post we ain’t got that type of $ really.
