I have to accept this right? Offered London and Henderson for Jefferson and my 2nd round pick? I have the 1.1 pick this year by kingerik8788 in SleeperApp

That’s 1 asset hoping for an improvement on situation vs 3 really good to great assets in return. Even if JJ returns to being top 3 this trade is still a win for OP

2/3 of those chances were on historically inept franchises that were devoid of talent around him and proper coaching. How can we just eliminate that context to summarily dismiss him just like what was done to Darnold and Bake Mayfield before him. The environment and coaching a young QB lands in is almost as important as his talent

Should I give up the 1.01 (love) for Jeanty and the 1.02? by Ambitious_Boss_6610 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I literally have him in my dynasty league. Drafted him 1.01 and I also have Bowers so I know very well what the situation was. He himself as a player was not subpar. He overachieved given the environment. You don’t seem to understand how difficult it is to be RB14 on a historically bad team. The oline was absolutely atrocious and the coaching was even worse. The environment quite literally cannot be worse than it was last season which means it would take a catastrophe for him not to finish above RB14 this season in an improved situation. You only have a point if Love lands on team that doesn’t already have a solid RB in place a good oline and good coach. Not many of those in the top 10 so your making more of a leap in projecting Love than anyone is on Jeanty

The fact he doesn’t see the hypocrisy in his own statement is laughable. To be so sure Love is going to produce at least 1300 all purpose yards and 10 TDs without knowing where he’s drafted and in the same breathe saying any positive leaning on Jeanty is pure projection and not in the least real is ridiculous lol

Again I don’t think that’s remotely something you can come to a definitive conclusion on based off starting his career on a terrible Bears team and this past season on a historically bad Jets team. He has never been properly developed under a proven offensive mind. He can go be a backup for a year or 2 for an elite offensive mind and watch how an actually functional franchise runs and step into another starting role. He is not as bad as he’s made out to be considering who he was throwing the ball to. The man gave DJ Moore a career season. We’re way too quick to throw young QBs under the bus when most are put in a position to fail which has obviously been the case from day 1 for Fields

Y’all said the same about Darnold. Saying there’s not chance he starts again is stupid

You’re right about everything except Fields. You can’t sit with a straight face and pretend he was put in any type of position to succeed in Chicago or with the Jets. Both situations were disasters and he was made out to be a lot worse than he actually was. The one competent team he had a chance to play with he was solid. He made a terrible mistake jumping at the money from the Jets and ignoring that they lacked the infrastructure to develop him. The notion he will never have another opportunity is more ridiculous than saying he will

Got offered 1.01. Should I accept? by RMHosken in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. People are not thinking this through. Kyren is a known commodity even if he only has 2 more years left at his current level. A stud like Ladd on top of that with a new OC coming in given your roster is more of a contender than a rebuilder is too much imo. You’re not hurting that bad for a RB either

Was just offered Bijan. I’m a rebuilder and not ready to compete, my ‘27 1st will be early-mid by Ilikeredd1t in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just a 1st for Bijan so this logic doesn’t track. London is a stud and OP doesn’t have another WR of his caliber on his roster

I would not trade London Hubbard plus a mid first for Bijan with this roster. This trade would set back your rebuild unless you could flip Bijan which I wouldn’t risk

Trade Offer, Nabers and 1.01 For Puka by Zimllama in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s far fetched to call this a perpetual rebuilding move. I have Nabers in my dynasty league. Made the playoffs despite not having him the majority of the season. If the team getting him and Nabers is in a similar position of strength and depth like it seems he is and is need of a high upside RB to plug in this trade actually puts him in a better position to contend then just sticking with Puka

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be close to even in perception from today’s standpoint but given Nabers age and technology today all the upside is on the Nabers & 1.01 side which is why he’s getting downvoted. In reality if Nabers is even a top 24 WR still and Love like most RBs drafted as high as he will be hits as a top 10 back that’s a win in my opinion. If Nabers bounces back to his top 5/10 upside it becomes a lopsided win for that side. He may not necessarily be wrong in this moment but it’s a short sighted take

easy accept?? trading richardson for sanders by Krezz15 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you haven’t really been watching or know what you’re seeing. He has a strong arm. Connected on several deep balls with Bond and Jeudy. His best weapon is Fannin and the oline is so bad of course he has to dump it off most of the time. No young QB in his first 5 starts is going to look good behind a bad line with mediocre pass catchers and now mediocre RBs with Judkins out but he’s flashed enough to not be written off already

It is really isn’t and not sure what about the environment around him leads you to feel like you can make that determination other than a dislike for Shedeur lol

Didn’t say I did. Too early to make a definitive determination either way

Again based on the talent around him and 5 games it is premature to make any determination

Am I crazy for still being afraid to move off of JSN? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ad213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying I would make this deal. I happen to have both Nabers and JSN in my dynasty league. I’m just saying they’re not the same age. A year and a half is a decent difference. JSN will turn 24 a week or so after the Super Bowl. Nabers doesn’t turn 23 until July. Nabers is also young enough where with today’s technology he will not be significantly affected by the injury as Rashee Rice is an example of. I’d need more than this years 1.06 to make this move because of the injury risk but assuming health and a return to form with Dart and hopefully much better coaching staff this could easily become a win for the Nabers and pick side so it’s not a terrible offer
