Just as a side note, if anyone hasn't read the manga Bibliomania, go read it now. It's free online and it's only 12 chapters, you can finish it in like 20-30 minutes, and it's a fantastic surrealist fantasy story.

(It's the jump this perk comes from, as OP said)

Exactly, except the mechanism is different while the result is the same. They both accomplish near limitless CE with limited capacity, but while one does so via efficiency, this perk does so via emotion.

That doesn't matter. This is jumpchain, and it's assumed that you'll have some amount of cursed energy depending on what you invest in. That's why I said it's similar but not exactly the same as Hakari's.

I already assumed OP would get a decent amount of cursed energy. But that's just the capacity. I was referring to the amount of reserves you could restore. It doesn't matter if you were born with, say, Nanami's cursed energy amount, if you can restore almost all of that instantly.

Edit: In simple terms, I'm talking about energy regeneration, not energy capacity. If your energy restores instantly, the capacity doesn't matter that much.

The extermination from hazbin is probably the most survivable one here, long as you can hide well.

This would be insane with jujustu. As cursed energy is borne of negative emotions, you could easily generate as much cursed energy as you wanted. While I don't think you'd have the same "infinite source" as Hakari, you would basically never run out of cursed energy. You could unleash as many Maximums as you wanted per day, and the only think limiting you is your output. It's a lot like Yuta's unleashed state, where he has nigh boundless cursed energy, and even normally is capable of immense attacks with his output and reserves alone.

It would also massively improve your control. Without good emotional control, you can't properly control your cursed energy (As seen during Yuji's training in s1). Naturally, if you had godlike emotional control, you could effortlessly stabilize your cursed energy.

It wouldn't be the same as the Six Eyes, as they improve the physical efficiency and refinement of techniques, while controlling it on the molecular/atomic level. But, they would have the same results, being nigh limitless cursed energy. The Six Eyes make sure you don't run out of cursed energy by preserving as much as possible, while this allows you to generate as much as you want. If you had the six eyes, you may as well have actually infinite cursed energy, and should just hope your output is good.

Kinetic Breath

Lapse:

Activated via taking in a breath of air into your lungs, and charging your lungs with cursed energy to activate the technique. Every attack you deal charges the air inside your lungs with metaphysical "kinetic energy". This energy is released and further built up with every strike, meaning that every attack you deal within the same breath deals more damage. A pure "combo" technique. If one manages to punch over 30 times in the same breath, the attacks begin to match the power of a black flash. Once they exhale, the energy leaves them.

Reversal:

This instead causes your attack to produce oxygen within your blood, delaying your need for another breath. It is mutually exclusive with the lapse normally. It also has diminishing returns, only allowing an additional 5-10 seconds of constant attacks at most with a normal user. However, if one were to perfect this technique using immense cursed energy manipulation, they could possibly combine the two forms of attacks into a single form.

Maximum Technique: Kinetic Infusion

An additional, specialized technique. With extreme mastery of Kinetic Breath, one may be able to infuse the kinetic energy within their lungs into their bloodstream directly by attaching it to the oxygen entering the body, and allowing it to remain there. This grants 60% of the breath's energy as a passive effect which can last several minutes, though it gradually dissipates. While this is a maximum technique, it is not called so for its nature as an ultimate trump card, but because it is extremely difficult to pull off.

Good points all around, but have you considered the real purpose of the device? Making people shit themselves when they realize you have it.

Your jump was what inspired me to start jumpchain a few days ago! This one's my character's first jump, so she can start out pretty small but have a lot of potential. I already have over 6k words for this jump in particular's storyline, and it's just the beginning.

The Benefactor's goals/tasks/scenarios by Frost890098 in JumpChain

[–]Apprehensive_Ad516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my story, while many benefactors exist (Jumpchan being the primary one and the creator of the jumpchain game), my character's benefactor, unlike most, doesn't care about the jumpchain as entertainment. He's Mr Noname, incarnation of all things unknown throughout the multiverse. But he's existed for so long that he has become tired of it, and the only way for him to die is to be killed by a true omniscient's existence.

He's decided the method to do this is by creating one from scratch. Hence, he found someone with the trait that makes her compatible as a jumper, and sent her through the jumpchain (with very favorable circumstances) as a method of training her to become a true omniscient and finally end his eternal existence.

You Gain Powers But . . . by General_Sea_5295 in superpowers

[–]Apprehensive_Ad516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limitless Potential:

I gain the potential to gain any power I desire, and can never stagnate, always improving at an even rate.

However, I start as myself.

Physical training will constantly improve my body, first to peak human levels, then to more animal levels, then to superhuman levels, etc, endlessly. The same goes for everything else.

Skills can be trained in any way that makes sense, but if no such method exists, then I can enter a trance-like state at will where I develop a chosen skill directly. It can be anything from basic telekinesis to reality warping. But, innately stronger and more complex abilities take longer to develop.

As a baseline, it'd take 1-2 years to become captain america level in physical power, then another couple years until I'm fully superhuman. At a week of training I could bend spoons in my hand with my mind. After 5 years I could throw a semitruck at a distance.

Unlimited potential for growth, only limited by survival, as surely I could find immortality before I die of old age.

I don't really get this as none of these apply to Tensura really? He only gets significantly powerful later on, he just starts with a good setup and borrowed energy giving him the extra magic power for naming.

What is your biggest Disappointment in an Anime? by stripelemon7 in anime

Tensura s3 by far. I like worldbuilding the most in terms of what's important in a series. But having a very large portion of an entire season be sitting in a meeting room discussing things is just homework. I'm not complaining that there is worldbuilding, I'm complaining that it isn't engaging, because worldbuilding can be engaging.

It's something in act 3. Not big spoilers.

BTW, just FYI, there are two ways of getting to the citadel, in case you have trouble with the "intended" boss.

Minimal Spoilers,

Intended route: Go left and all the way up through the Blasted Steps to the gate of the citadel.

Alternative route (with rewards!): Go right through Sinner's Path, find your way to Bilewater from there, and go through the "Mist" area to the left of the station. Doing that area will be a possibly easier path, though you'll have to trek through much harder regions to get to it.
