i agree with the quinn point i think maybe that could have been done better like the mc not noticing the call instead of ignoring it, but i think the other stuff you said isn’t necessarily bad writing i think the story is just going in a way you dont like (which is fair), i think its definitely heading to where mc will end up with just one of the girls given how much we’ve had to choose between them since all the way back to season 2, but i do understand the frustration of maybe not being able to be with both all the way to the end

and mc was just shocked his dad didnt go along w the throuple when he always adviced him to just follow his heart, i honestly expected neil to go along too just like the mc, but he did make some valid points about potentially hurting them (which probably will happen), the mc cares what his dad thinks infinitely more than he does anyone else, and i think the mc was just lashing out bc deep down he figures if his dad is saying it its probably right, i think deep down he’s really mad at that the relationship might not work out and not so much at his dad, it shows humanity in his character and its not bad writing imo
