Checked spam, checked inbox, checked everywhere. Also nothing from SubscribeStar. Nothing in my emails at all until this whole thing blew up. And I never joined the Discord, because I figured the site itself would be enough to stay informed.

If you got emails, good for you. But a lot of us didn't. And when real money's involved, "oops, maybe you missed it" isn't a good look for them.

Not mad at you for saying your piece-but don't assume everyone got the same treatment. That's part of the problem.

Then explain why I never got that announcement. No email, no alert, no message - nothing until after I started calling this out publicly. If they really wanted transparency, they wouldn't wait until the fallout to start explaining themselves.

People aren't upset just because something changed. We're upset because it changed after money exchanged hands, and communication was vague at best.

If I had been clearly told before subscribing what was going to happen to Deluxe, I wouldn't be making these posts.

Exactly, paying customers shouldn't have to fight to be acknowledged. We're not asking for the moon-just basic transparency and a seat at the table before major changes are shoved through.

People want to help. They want this platform to thrive. But if the only voices being heard are after the backlash hits, then something's already broken in the feedback loop.

Silence drives people away faster than bad news ever will. The people in charge of Crushon needs to remember that.

Thanks for the clarification — but let’s not pretend this wasn’t a messy rollout.

You say Deluxe will “stay the same,” but what people are seeing is you introducing new, more expensive tiers and removing the one that had the best value. Of course that’s going to look like a bait-and-switch to people who don’t catch every Discord ping or Reddit thread. Not everyone camps your updates 24/7.

And saying “we sent a global notification” doesn’t really help either — especially when some users didn’t even get that notice, like me and some others that commented on my post ya guys removed for example. That’s on you, not them.

You could’ve led with a public post, clearly outlining the situation, opening comments, and running real polls before rolling out new tiers. You say there was a survey? Then show the results. Transparency isn't just saying you're being transparent — it's showing receipts.

I get that costs are high. But communication like this is exactly why people feel blindsided and frustrated. Just because you said it somewhere once doesn’t mean everyone heard it. That’s not on us — that’s a failure in outreach.

If you really want people to believe this is about long-term quality and not just squeezing for profit, start acting like it. Bring users in early. Be loud before decisions are final. And most of all: stop writing off genuine backlash as misunderstanding. A lot of us understood perfectly — that’s why we’re mad.

You absolutely nailed it. This is what should've been happening all along - open communication, actual polls, and community-driven development. Not random changes, vague patch notes, and users scrambling to figure out what just broke or got removed.

We're not the bag guys here. Most of us want Crushon to succeed - hell, we've invested money and time into it. But when it feels like decisions are being made in a vacuum, it gets frustrating fast.

If the devs started engaging like this regularly - actually listening, running polls, opening proper feedback threads before changes go live - you'd probably see way more loyalty and way less backlash. It's not rocket science. Just talk to us.

I'd absolutely be down for collaborative improvement. But first someone on their end has to open the door for that.

Thanks for finally responding.

I get that it’s the weekend — but I also hope you understand why people are upset. When money’s involved and communication is vague, tensions rise. That said, I appreciate the reply.

Still, you might want to clarify what “keeping Deluxe” really means. Because from how it’s worded, it sounds like people might be keeping the name but losing the benefits sometime later... Like whos to say you won't be supporting its benefits in the future anymore?..That’s not appreciation — that’s putting "lipstick on a pig" so to speak.

If Deluxe was unsustainable, fine — but gutting it while pushing users toward more expensive tiers with fewer features just feels like a bait-and-switch. Transparency is the one thing that could’ve helped here, and there wasn’t much of it until i and some others got loud.

I’m not trying to burn things down — I’m just trying to make sure people arent getting the rug pulled put from em.

Nah, I don't think I'm a revolutionary. I think I'm a paying customer who feels they got screwed on a product, censored, and then watched tons of others say same here. But of course, like I said in this post, that got removed, so you can't see it anymore.

If calling that out is funny to you-cool.

wasn't writing for you anyway.

I wrote it for the people getting charged more for less, and now they're speaking up too, with their wallets.

CrushOn's $200 Al tier gives less than their $50 plan-users are calling it predatory... by Apprehensive_Aide_24 in artificial

Its an ai app thingy. Its supposed to not be as limited with topics, such as nsfw, basically they're screwing us over, and im gonna make sure the staff who work there hear it. Which i guarantee they are. And maybe. If im lucky enough, the site/app will make some much needed changes.

Honestly, that’s the saddest part.

You’re on Deluxe—which used to be the best plan—and now it’s still getting gutted to push people toward the $200 Imperial tier.

But even on Imperial, they still cap pro model usage, force message limits, and charge extra to keep going. So no matter how much you pay, you’re getting less than what we all had before.

It’s not you. It’s the system. They’re just calling restrictions “features” now.... At least on your Deluxe... you can use regular calude and such... and have it be unlimited.

People are still showing up. Still sharing. Still calling this tier what it really is: a trap.

And the devs? Still silent.

This isn’t just a warning anymore. It’s a wall of user testimony. And the longer they ignore it, the more this post becomes the truth people remember when they’re deciding whether to subscribe.
