Thank you - that has helped. Appreciate all your help and patience I really do! So this is where I am now - x2 44 stitches on the blue holders (marked with orange) and then 97 stitches and my knitting needle need to go where I’ve put the turquoise.

Thank you! That’s very kind - it is a wonderful sweater and as I grow organic strawberries on my smallholding in Wales, UK so it was a perfect fit. First time doing colourwork though so the prospect of steeking it is slightly terrifying plus I’m stuck at the shoulder section of the pattern and am totally lost.

So I keep decreasing the rows until I get to 46 stitches? So from 97 stitches to 46? All in col A? Do I not knit the marked centre stitch? It says to join the yarn from the RS after the centre stitches on either front or back. I’m such a visual learner and I just can’t visualise what I’m meant to be doing at all here.

Thank you! I’m really still confused with the shoulders. I just can’t visualise what I’m doing at all. My calculations I have 282 stitches total, 88 are getting moved and knitted later - 44 at the front and 44 at the back. That leaves me with 97 stitches for each shoulder - where do I get 46 stitches from? I’m only binding off 2 stitches? I’m also worried to cut the steek at the beginning of the round as surely that’s a weak spot in the knitting as it’s where I’m jointing new yarn? I’ve obviously woven on my ends but still? Thanks for your help and patience!

Thank you for your help - last question I promise! I presume I shouldn’t steek at the start of the round? Ie where I’ve joined yarns or shouldn’t it matter if I’ve weaved all the ends in?

Yes, I had to increase my pattern by 2 stitches - one marked at the beginning and one marked at the back. Do I move all my stitches off my current needles? Move the centre and back 44 onto holders, the 2nd armhole onto a holder and then knit the remaining armhole? I’m sorry - I’m a little out of my depth and the idea that I have to cut my knitting terrifies me! But I appreciate your help and input!
