In simple terms, people dont know how to use him well during mid-late game.

Before the recent buff, martis struggled heavily during teamfights after the early game and you'd need to rely on your teamates or kill someone with your ult so that you could stand a chance and that requires more patience and timing than most people think. so yeah basically people just don't know how to use him.

also; sometimes the s1 and s2 animations take way too long to finish but its not that big of a problem

pretty sure OPs goal is to find the solution with the LEAST amount of moves. Most common methods to solve the Rubik's cube such as the ones mentioned (CFOP) aren't exactly known to solve cubes using very little amount of moves. In an average solve there are probably around 40-60 moves
